Resort Nassfeld
Nassfeld Resort is Carinthia’s largest and most modern ski resort with a large variety of activities and it is in the top 10 of the most popular ski resorts in Austria.
Because of the location close to the Italian border, the resort of Nassfeld has lots of hours of sunshine and an outstanding snow record. With the Millennium Express, the longest gondola of the Alps, you will be at 2000 metres altitude within 22 minutes and you will have access to 110km of slopes with 30 ultramodern lifts.
A part of the resort is in Italy. The resort offers good possibilities for beginning and intermediate skiers and because of this it is popular with families.
Cross country skiing
There are cross country skiing routes with a total length of 55km and there are many routes through the mountains. You can go with a guide and explore one of the many routes in the area. We can arrange your material for you.
You can of course also do some exploring yourself; you can enter the cross-country skiing trail in Rattendorf and make a beautiful tour to Tröpolach. You can make a nice walk through the snowy forests of Rattendorf and Tröpolach.
Weissensee
Close to our hotel is the Weissensee, Europe’s largest natural ice rink. Here you can rent ice skates and do some ice skating yourself or enjoy a nice hot drink while watching an ice hockey match.
